Yskalic (Ȝyskkal)
Yskalic (endonym: ȝyskkal [ˈjæɪs.xːɑl]) is a Mixed Germanic language from the Indo-European language family spoken mainly in Yskal, where it is the official language. The language is classified as a "Mixed Germanic" language because of its blending of aspects from Old English, Old High German, Old Icelandic, Old Norwegian, Russian, and likely other languages. Due to the language's many oddities that set it apart from being close to any one language, it is not mutually intelligible with the continental Scandinavian languages (Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish) or other Germanic languages such as English and German.
