Names can become a difficult subject when working in Drukna, this is due to the fact that it misses a few letters of the English alphabet. A letter like c can be substituted with /k/ or /s/ (depending on the sound) and the sound 'qu' can be replaced by /kw/. However, other letters like p or j cannot. So, in this respect, translation often opts to replace p with a simple /b/ and j is given the options of /ɠ/ or /ʝ/. /ʝ/ is generally the more popular choice, though it varies from person to person.
For a brief example, the name Jessica, when translated to Drukna, would possibly become Yesike (/ʝæsɪkæ/), or could remain with an /a/ to stick closer to the original spelling but with a slightly different sound.
Not all people will translate their name into Drukna, instead sticking with their original, romanized version. Whilst this works fine for speaking, it becomes an issue in reading and writing as, once again, Drukna simply doesn't have the same letters as us.
