Noun Marking System
Early Vulgar Arraniol lost the definite and indefinite distinction as unstressed suffixes gets reduced and merged. Plural marking survived in its reduced form and has only 2 numbers: singular (unmarked) and plural (suffix -ku), with the dual number disappeared entirely. Sacred words were still considered inherently definite, but they still allow the number suffix. Agreement is optional but acceptable within a sentence.
Examples:
Amun “human / a human”
Amunku “humans”
Monər “monster / a monster”
Monərku “monsters”
