Grammatically, "ar" and "kyr" have very different use cases.
Ar is more exclusive to noun windowing. For example:
Hu ar hem.
(Hu, "I", windows hem, "person", so the speaker is a person)
Ho ar du.
(Ho, "it", windows du, "here", so "it" is located at wherever the speaker is mentioning)
Kyr is more exclusive towards description. For example:
Hu kyr tene lasodu.
(Hu, "I", is being described as tene, "good", so the speaker feels or is good)
Lju alka kyr ljusem.
(Lju, "water", is being described as ljusem, "wet", so water is being described as always wet)
However, kyr can be used for more than just adjectives. Nouns can be used to describe other nouns. For example:
Ho kyr solag naga.
(Ho, "it", or "the weather" in this context, is being described as solag, "sun", so the speaker is saying that the weather is sunny right now)
Doklju kyr sem lju.
(Doklju, "ice", is being described as lju, "water", so ice is being described as "like water")
