Phracian is a Baltic language predominantly spoken in Phracia (Φραξ /frat͡s/) is a contry situated on both sides of the Bosphorus and Marmora Sea, with the capital in Semystra (IRL Constantinople/Isanbul). The inspiration for the language came from a very sound hypothesis that Thracian and Phrygian, the langauges spoken in the region in Antiquity and pehraps into the Early Medieval era, show a lot of parallels with the Balto-Slavic languages in what little in left of them, leaning towards the Baltic side.

Phonetically and grammatically Phracian is inspired by greece. The sound changes from Proto-Balto-Slavic → Ancient Phracian → Modern Phracian are a slight alteration of Proto-Hellenic → (Attic) Ancient Greek → Modern Standard Greek. The language is written in an alphabet "coincidently resembling" the IRL Greek, and largely preserves the antique orthography despite substantial sound changes. In the first version, I have been mostly copying the Greek paradigms but, being now somewhat more familiar with Baltic verb conjugation, will likely go for some mixed one here.

Phracian largely replaces Greek in the conworld (with Hellenic languages like Ilatvian being spoken in the Baltics)
