Orthography of Rugan (In English)

The Rugan alphabet consists of 32 letters: consonants, vowels and nasal vowels.

Writing rules

• A double consonant makes the previous vowel short

  • To "v"'s are not written as "vv", but rather with "w" and is treated as a double consonant.

• There are no silent letters and the words are pronounced pretty straight forward, no diphthongs either.
