Spacing and Punctuation

Spacing in Vaekalo is optional, but is typically used in daily writing to avoid any confusion or misinterpretation. It is also required in legal documents for the same reason.

The only punctuation marks in Vaekalo are periods (.), commas (,), and quotation marks ("). Periods are put in the front of the sentence as well as the end. Periods are also spaced out from the sentence like this -> . I like soup . It is tasty .

Commas and quotation marks are used in nearly the same way as English.
