Ni/N' (No)

The word ‘ni’ or ‘n’ is used to express negation, but which one is used depends on how the following word begins:

If the following word begins with a consonant, ‘ni’ is used.

If the following word begins with a vowel, ‘n’ is used.

Example: Ni staïstes bol. (No estas bien).

N'ä buitez. (No a veces).
