There are four classes of letters in the Kruceran alphabet.
Vowels
Hard consonants
Soft consonants
Buzzes/ Dead Buzzes
Each buzz is paired with a dead buzz, which is the same letter but without the fricative.
The four pairs of dead buzzes and buzzes are:
C (s) — Z (z)
F (f) — V (v)
H (θ) — TH (ð)
SH (ʃ) — J (ʒ)
In most words, a dead buzz can be swapped out with a buzz in order to add emphasis. This is most common in adjectives.
Ex. álshio (strong) —> áljio (super strong)
When nouns are made plural, a buzz is ended onto the end of the word. If they end in a dead buzz, the dead buzz is replaced with the buzz. For more detail on that, look at the Plurals grammar page.
