Roots

1 min read · 81 words

Nouns, adjectives and verbs are formed from series of three consonants (roots) which carry a core meaning, while their vocals make diferences between words:

There are two types of roots:

-Weak roots

-Strong roots

Weak roots contain one of the following letters:

ی/й /j/

و/в /w/

وعـвӏ /wˤ/

ر/р /r/

ل/л /l/

ݪ/ль /ɮ/ (at the end of the root)

ئ/ъ /ʔ/

This means, that these sounds can dissapear or merge with another sometimes, specialy in short words or with suffixes.
