Norþumbrisc

Norþumbrisc (/nɔrθumbrɪʃ/) is a Germanic constructed language that models an alternate historical evolution of Northern Middle English in an alternate history where Anglo-Saxon paganism survived and fused with Old Norse influence. Its orthography and phonological rules feature historical Northern sound shifts, such as unpalatalized adjectival endings and vowel raising, alongside lexical influences from Scandinavian and Celtic roots.
