THE 6-GOD PANTHEON & THE COSMIC MARATHON

1. The High Sky Deities (The Twin Sisters)

  • Ji (The Sun Sister): The goddess of daytime, heat, and waking life. When Ji is in the sky, the Elizans are at their peak kinetic energy—running, foraging, and carving. She represents warmth and forward momentum.

  • Ju (The Moon Sister): The goddess of night, stars (Juwi), and silver light. When Ju rises, it signals the time for Sidem (to sleep) and reflection. She is the quieter, protective sister watching over the canopy.

  • The Eternal Chase: The two sisters are viewed as being locked in an endless, celestial marathon across Zhizhi (the sky), constantly trying to outrun and catch up to one another.

2. The Eclipse Peace (The Sacred Totality)

  • The Totality Embrace: When Ju successfully catches up to Ji, resulting in a solar eclipse, it is viewed as a rare, sacred moment of perfect cosmic affection and harmony between the sisters.

  • The Great Halting: The instant an eclipse begins, all forward running (Pa-pa-pa) and hunting (Pazeshidem) across the world stops dead. Runners plant their carved staffs and sit down; animals are granted automatic sanctuary on the forest floor.

  • The Gathering of the Circles: Linear river-villages break their straight lines and gather in massive, concentric circles at neutral grounds. All tribal rivalries (Shi) are brought forward and peacefully settled face-to-face before the dark sky.

  • The Fire Dance: In the center of the circle, a massive bonfire is lit to Pu (Fire). The community engages in a highly intense, synchronised circular dance until they are completely breathless (Fafadem), symbolically sweating out all remaining anger (Su) into the earth.

3. The Four Earthly Forces

  • Pan-Jad (The Great Runner): The god of wind and speed, derived from Pan (Wind) and Jad (Person). He is the invisible, sprinting breath in the canopy. Runners pray to him for lung endurance before setting off.

  • Pa-Pa-La-Zed (The River Guide): The goddess of living water and flow. She directs the rushing Pa-pa-la (Rivers) that carve out the valleys, providing Wila (Fish) and life to the linear settlements.

  • Iba-Bua (The Deep Stone): The giant of the mountains and gravity. He is completely stationary and anchors the planet. His downward pull is what physically enables the pulley-scribes to lower their writing platforms.  He is still so others don't have to be.

  • Pu-Wud (The Fire Feeder): The god of the hunt, smoke, and death. He represents the sharp edge of survival. He must be heavily respected, as rogue fire can burn down the living tree-libraries.
