Vowel Harmony

Aulit uses vowel harmony. The six vowels are split as follows.
Middle | Edge | Neutral | |
|---|---|---|---|
Back | o | u | |
Front | ɵ | a | i e |
Middle vowels cannot appear in the same words as Edge vowels. Neutral can appear with either Middle or Edge.
Endings change based on which vowel harmony is used. These will see a and ɵ usually switch, and o and u usually switch. the one exception is verb conjugation, which work differently.
For example, let's compare Epolo (man) and Pinna (boy)
The augmentative forms for both are Epolotɵn and Pinnatan.
The diminutive forms for both are Epoloso and Pinnasu.
Here they take the same endings, just with the vowel changed.
