adverbs, conjunctions and prepositions

1 min read · 129 words

An adverb is similar to an adjective, but for verbs. It is part of an adverbial phrase that functions as a sentence complement and has the same properties, as well as being able to be placed right after the verb. But if a temprius is used, we instead put the adverb in front of the verb.

A conjunction links words, phrases, and clauses together to form complex sentences. It is always placed between the elements being linked. The main coordinating conjunctions are kar (because), (so), é (and), (but), and au (or).

A preposition is used to link two words or phrases that do not have the same root, for exemple a noun and a pronoun, or a verb and it's complex complement. They often indicate location, direction/origin or time.
